I was suprised that he has odd number of black stiff feathers in his tail. I looked up older pictures if I managed to catch that before -- and there was one where he had even number (two). Now I would much like to know what count is the norm and whether some scientists investigated that already.

I asked google, and it seems they should have four of these stiff feathers, whe folded it should look like a pair. So this is unusual.
