John, it’s not trolling, I’ve had beautiful tits posts before. We’re just all a bit on the juvenile side here, and enjoy all the tit wordplay. :D

As for stats, the tit posts get the same as any other bird post, but today, I’m afraid beautiful tits were eclipsed by interest in the first photos of long-tailed tits. Dinosaur watchers are a bit…odd.

You know, John, if you are wondering “why won’t people assume good faith?”, this is why.
You obviously haven’t been paying much attention to Caine’s blog, or you’d have noticed two things:
    1. Frequent posts titled “beautiful + bird name”. There’s blackbirds, nuthatches, etc.
    2. Many tit pics, as they are a numerous family and frequent visitors to our European bird feeders.
Which is what makes the whole thing so damn funny: treat them like all the other birds and you get the most delightful double entendre any 12 yo could wish for.
Instead, you see that one post and accuse Caine of “trolling for clicks”.
You don’t assume good faith, yet demand it.

    Aww.

True. I mostly follow the endless thread.

Instead, you see that one post and accuse Caine of “trolling for clicks”.

Praise, not accuse — and not for clicks, but for subversion.

    But fair enough.

John, I got that, really. This is The Daily Bird #562. And that’s not an accurate count, because I didn’t start numbering for the first month or three. I’ve been doing this from the start, so people even passing familiar with Affinity are familiar with the birds. For some people, that’s the signature of this blog, and that’s fair enough too. :)

What kind of tit is that first one, with the patterned baldness? Coal tit or marsh tit? I have trouble telling them apart, as they’re both rare and very shy but absolutely cuteness birdified over here.
