I just wonder what lives in the drain that tastes so good and needs to make a dash for the other side in broad daylight.

The triatahlon: race to the beach side fish and chip shop, race to the drain overflow, race to the waste transfer station. It’s a hard life being a scavenger.

Oh and I’ve discovered the nickname for the White Ibis in Australia, the “bin chicken”, for it’s habit of rooting through garbage bins.
