I knew that magpie tail is iridescent, but I never realized that the wings are also. It’s wonderful that you caught the iridescence on image sensor.
I concur with Caine on the difficulty of photographing magpies. Of the corvids seen here, crows are the easiest, then jackdaws and magpies are most difficult. Jays and ravens don’t seem to like urban areas, so they aren’t seen here.
