“Nobody Knows” by IsKwé. A strong piece either for starting or ending a concert. I may not have understood immediately what the lyrics are about if it weren’t for her Bandcamp page. The message comes in a roundabout way (first you like the song, the you hear what it’s about).

Five very good songs. All 3 N’we Jinan Artists songs were very inspirational, and well worth the listen.
Ice Swimmer, thanks for the Bandcamp page. It does deepen the understanding of that song.
My Stone is a beautiful homage to family, well done.
I’ve gotta go and explore some more of all of these!

So many of these songs you have posted (been going through the posts backwards, sorry, tonight ends here) have these really deep messages of hope, strength and overcoming in them. And love, of course. So much talent out there, I wish they could get the exposure they deserve.
Absolutely love Nobody Knows. Something in her voice timbre reminds me of Kimbra. I think I’ve been bookmarking about half of what you’ve posted so far; I wish I could bookmark this one twice.

I can’t say Iskwé is one of my favourites; normally her voice is quite light, geared for pop music. This song is an exception, she should use her voice like that more often. This song, I love.
