CrabApples in the front yard are leafing out, Elm trees are flowering, Pheasant Roosters are cackling every 20 minutes, Mated duck pairs are finding little ponds to settle in. Even have a pair of Crows building a nest in the tree row Pines. It’s Springtime.

I haven’t seen any dandelion, yet. I can’t wait to make an omelette with dandelion buds. They are sooo good.

Here too, but along with the CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP, the various vocalizations of the bluejays, including the screams, the rawk rawk and whistles of grackles, the brooding of doves, the repeats of robins, the elevated calls of chickadees and nuthatches, various drills of woodpeckers, and woodpeckers being pissed off -- very noisy that. Doesn’t stop until a while after full dark. I love it.

“Stomp heavily, for the peas are migrating” — forty-foot high killer rats, upon noticing it is Sprung.

So much anticipation in those greens and yellow.
Yes. So much anticipation in me, too.
