A few months ago Micah Moore stood as groomsman in Bethaney Deaton’s wedding. A few days ago he walked into a Midwest* police department and told investigators he had killed her at the request of her new husband Tyler. Bethany and Tyler met as freshman at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, just outside of Austin and moved to Kansas where they started and managed a prayer group. The motive according to Moore? Egad:
ABC News– In the criminal complaint filed in support of the charge, police detailed a stunning series of allegations that Moore made as part of his confession.Moore, 23, lived with Deaton and her husband, Tyler, in a communal home shared by male members their prayer group. He told police that several members had sexually assaulted Bethany Deaton, and they were worried she would tell someone. Moore said that’s when Tyler Deaton ordered him to kill Bethany Deaton, according to a criminal complaint.

horrific.
and I’m sure that “good Christians” will claim that those people were “just cultists”. Funny how their god, assuming it exists, can’t actually help those that pray to it but has no problem allowing such evil things to happen.

Not Kansas. Missouri. IHOP (International House of Prayer) is in Grandview, Missouri just south of Kansas City, Missouri.

Several other sources indicate that this was also orchestrated by Tyler Deaton as part of an ‘ex-gay’ program.
