Looks like I will have something to listen to for awhile.
Anyone else noticed the ancestral whale (maybe Dorudon) in the first vid? Nice touch. And the movement of those little fish was very realistic. Simple looking animation but there has had to go a lot of thought and work into it.
Charly, I noticed. I love that video and the song; I’ve watched it a number of times.

I love their I of the Storm, also Wolves Without Teeth, and Human, and and and… they’re just lovely. I love their animated videos in black and white, mesmerizing and fantastical. I think I was introduced to them via somewhere on Freethoughtblogs, in fact, when the song King and Lionheart was posted (at Dana Hunter’s?). Hooked for life!
Yes, it’s not just the music, although I love it to pieces, but their videos are all little masterpieces, which intensify the songs, and I can get so distracted by them, a whole afternoon lost before I know it.

And for some weird algorithmic reason via them, I came across the Jerry Cans.
May as well drop a link for one of my all time faves: Your Bones.

Sometimes I think I must live under a rock. I’ve never heard this music before. It’s wonderful. So are the videos! Thanks, Caine. I think I’m gonna go get lost in some new songs for a while….

Nice choices! Little Talks was the first Of Monsters and Men song and video that I ever saw. I was hooked right away.
Dave, thank you! Oh, I love Little Talks too. That’s the problem with them, is having to make a choice at all. If someone asked me what to listen to, my answer would be everything!

I love so many of their songs.

I haven’t met one yet that I don’t like.

Okay, then, this’ll be what I listen to.

Voyager, you won’t be disappointed! It’s good to get lost in their world for a bit.
