I love the diagonal line patterns the disarranged feathers are creating, geometric and I can’t stop staring.
No other bird looks as pathetic as a Blue Jay when wet. They look the same as wet kittens, and they have that pathetic “woe is me” look even after they’ve taken a highly enthusiastic bath.
