Hey Extra-Special-Stupid YouTube Commenter: Do I Have to Show You My Birth Certificate?

OK, I get my share of complete morons commenting on my videos, but this one takes the cake. I’m fighting the Christian nationalist history revisionists because I’m British and haven’t gotten over England losing the Revolutionary War?

This is an actual comment posted on my video “David Barton’s lie that Thomas Jefferson told the Marine Band to play at church services,” one of the videos I posted debunking the lies in “Professor” David Barton’s “Faith 102″ class at Beck University.

“Chris Rodda, she is a Brit, not a U.S. citizen and she is an Athiesm activist who obviously hasn’t gotten over the fact that “the colonists” chose religious freedom over what her country had to offer….which was nothing. And the fact remains that that still applies today. Her website: “LiarsForJesus” and then the money line “With a few extra mouse clicks, you can help support my research” tells me all I need to know about this Socialist athiest……….”

Seriously? I’m not a U.S. citizen? Well, let’s clear that up right now. Here you go, extra-stupid YouTube commenter. Here’s my birth certificate!

Now, I know it may look suspicious that I blocked out my mother’s full name, but I swear I only did that because places sometimes ask for your mother’s maiden name as a security question.

So now that we’ve cleared that up, I have a few questions for the idiot who posted this comment, starting with: DO I SOUND BRITISH? Really, dude, you just watched this video and heard me talk in it!

And, lastly, you freakin’ moron, I don’t think you’ve been paying attention in those Beck University classes. Having a link on my website to make money makes me a socialist? Doing things to make money is C-A-P-I-T-A-L-I-S-M, you idiot! I’m an American citizen making money from a private business, just as Jesus intended! Have you learned nothing from Mr. Beck?

(Oh yeah, and one more thing — the rule is “i” before “e” except after “c” OR when spelling ATHEIST!)

    Chris,
You may get a moron or two but nothing like the deranged loons PZ attracts. Your letter at least had mostly reasonable grammar and capitalization. Misspelling atheist is a pretty common thing so I’d say your moron is a cut above the run of the mill moron. You should be proud.

Also, if you teach at BeckU, doesn’t that speak volumes for your work?

Chris, you tend to speak in complete sentences. Most of the Americans this guy knows probably can’t do that.

That’s an obvious forgery. The “NEWTON, NEW JERSEY” is in a different font than everything else. I bet it even has layers! You’re hack Photoshop jobs cant fool us, Chris Rodda, we know you were actually born on the Isle of Jersey (and that’s why you don’t have a regular English accent, the Channel Islands are different – Glen Beck told me so when he was explaining how to shelter gold there).

Religious freedom means I don’t have to chose that commenter’s bigoted religion.

It doesn’t mean I only get to choose my religion from theirs.

I don’t even understand how someone can say that atheism isn’t allowed under religious freedom!

Wait a minute: you did not answer the most important question: What about Thomas Jefferson’s birth certificate? You did not show it to us: what if Jefferson was some sort of french, marxist, anti-american, radical atheist? :p

Chris, I hope you’ve been careful with that picture. It’s often possible to get back original blocked out text, with a good photo-editor. The easiest thing is to do the coverup, then take a screenshot of it, and post that.

Pffft! You just blocked out your mother’s name because she’s a Kenyan anti-colonialist Muslim atheist who’s racist against white people.

Heads up, folks – we got a (precocious) 9/11 (terrorist anchor) baby here!

Fine, I will accept that you were born here. But have you sufficiently proven that you are not a Muslim?

You’re just pissed off because David (“The Fabulist”) Barton STILL hasn’t sued you and you’re taking out your ire out on a poor, defenseless moron.

“I don’t even understand how someone can say that atheism isn’t allowed under religious freedom!”

    Short answer: they’re dumb.
Long answer: they’re just plain ignorant. And also probably dumb.

And I have to disagree that you are the athiest. I think that would be me and I challenge you to a reality contest of your choosing.

Oh, there was absolutely nothing English about either of the accents in that video.

You people in the US are abominable at faking (and sometimes even distinguishing) a British accent.

But then I’ve got a kind of mixed continental accent myself, so who am I to talk =).

And yes, putting up adverts and asking for money is capitalism!

So you proved you are not a British Atheist socialist. Big deal!

But can you prove you’re not a Kenyan Muslim socialist? Ha! I’d like to see you do that!

If i was asked who was speaking just from listening to the audio i would say that it was Candice Bergen in her role as Shirley Schmidt from Boston Legal. I could listen to that voice all day.

Wait a minute: you did not answer the most important question: What about Thomas Jefferson’s birth certificate.

Jefferson, Washington, and all the signers of the Declaration of Independence, were not natural born citizens of the United States.
