If only there had been more guns and less gay in Boston …

I wonder how many Boston liberals spent the night cowering in their homes wishing they had an AR-15 with a hi-capacity magazine? #2A

It begins. Because everyone knows shooting at an explosion fixes everything ::Eyeroll::  An actual relevant, valid question might be more along the lines of how did these guys manage to assemble such a vast deadly arsenal and would background checks or other restrictions have made that more difficult? Meanwhile Tony Perkins also has a theory

RW Watch — If Congress wants to stop these tragedies, then it has to address the government’s own hostility to the institution of the family and organizations that can address the real problem: the human heart.

As I’ve said before, America doesn’t need gun control, it needs self-control. And a Congress that actively discourages it–through abortion, family breakdown, sexual liberalism, or religious hostility–is only compounding the problem

Considering that gun nuts are already doing just that because they believe the UN, Trilateral Commission, Homeland Security, the gays & atheists are out to get them, I have to wonder why he’s even asking.

If gun powder was not accessible, these guys could not have built their bombs. No guns! No gunpowder! No bullets!

    Whoever this fuckhead NateBell is…..

No, the liberals were probably the ones running to help the injured.

Why would you need an “AR-15 with a hi-capacity magazine” to kill a single teenager who’s probably already injured?

Wouldn’t a paring knife or corkscrew do the job? I bet those Boston liberals have arsenals of high-end arugula chopping cutlery lying about.

If those boys had been raised in a loving, stable family by two same-sex atheists of color, this tragedy would probably never have happened.

Here’s my question: where do you find the overlap between “You can’t stop evil – bad people will find ways to kill regardless of how they’re armed” and “when it gets really bad, you’ll wish you could put ten bazillion bullets downrange in five seconds”? Either assault weapons and high-capacity magazines are more deadly than single-shot weapons and smaller magazines, or they’re not.

I overheard someone at work say something about “respect the second amendment and this wouldn’t have happened.” Apparently there are a lot of people out there who either think shooting a bomb is a good idea, or they think the bombing was some guy standing out in the open lobbing Loony Tunes-style spherical bombs at people.

While I can’t speak for all Boston liberals, not being one nor an officially-designated spokesperson, I would have to say that it wouldn’t surprise me if somewhere between zero and no Boston liberals were wishing they had an AR-15 floating around.

Thus ends my serious consideration of Nate’s Tweet. Let me now give it the response it rightfully deserves:
    Fuck you, Nate Bell.

Religious hostility? You mean, like good clean Christian hate for Muslims, or atheists? Because that’s sooo helpful it should be pushed by the government, right?

If you want something to truly make you sick, read Tony Miano’s response to this. He pretty much blames humanity in general, not just gays. It may not sound so bad, but just read all of what he says. This is only a snippet:

The reality is that God allowed the events of April 15 to take place in Boston, for reasons known only to Him, with the perfect intent of bringing Himself glory in the event itself or in the aftermath. And no human being has the right or authority to question God about it, as a prosecuting attorney would cross examine a suspected criminal (Rom 9:20-26).

All the people that died or were shot in this manhunt yesterday were carrying guns. The guy who had his car taken was released. The naked arrestee survived, the various folk wandering the streets in hoodies survived.
Last thing I want an armed and nervous police (or terrorist) thinking when he sees me is that I might try to kill him.
Loads of respect for the professionals putting themselves at risk for the people of Boston, but I don’t want to play at pretending to be one of them.

What a pompous jackass. How do guys like that keep getting elected? Don’t answer that.
