The Gaillardia is blooming here too. Awesome pic of the bee. The spider’s abdomen is quite rotund.
Earlier today outside I observed a Eastern Tiger swallowtail butterfly on a flower that was not moving for an unusually long time, on closer inspection I saw that the butterfly was being fed on by a large Flower Crab spider.
