One last quick post of the night, fom the International Asexuality Day website:
International Asexuality Day (IAD) will take place on April 6th. IAD is a coordinated worldwide campaign promoting the ace umbrella, including demisexual, grey-asexual and other ace identities.
Here’s a song dedicated to any Aces reading: Joan Armatrading, “Me, Myself, I”.

That video has unfortunately chopped off the beginning, here’s the whole song:

Also, I won’t be a dick and point out being ace is not the same as loving solitude because ace people could love company but just not want to mash squishy bits together, or alternatively one could love solitude and also love to fuck like a rabbit, “but only on Saturdays”, as Joan sings, so I won’t be a dick and point that out.
Oh, wait…
Intransitive says
It’s the best I could come up with, positive and happy. Most songs about being alone wallow in self pity and say it’s a problem.
How many Ace songs are there, and I don’t mean the 1970s band?
