In the headstone sense of passes, I mean.

As I post, the current “official” death toll from COVID-19 is 4,999,765.  By the end of the day (12:00AM UTC) we will pass five million acknowledged deaths.

But given the allegations of undercounting and mislabelling of deaths in several countries (e.g. US, China, India, UK, Spain, etc.) the actual death toll could be upwards of ten million already.
