Sweet! I don’t know where my nuthatches are this winter, normally I get several at my feeders but so far none have shown.
Today my dad complained that they were lacking in birds.
I told him they are here.
The long-tailed tits were back today, including the one with the white head.
According to my atlas the long tailed tit has mixed populations of individuals with white head and striped head. Cool.
Notes and idle questions:
The beak looks like blued/parkerized steel.
Is this photo a selfie in a small way (a shadow of Giliell on the eye)?
What kind of a plan would a nuthatch hatch?
