    Scale, it’s all a matter of scale. You might think that’s a bug on twig photographed using a camera you can buy in a shop, against an out-of-focus green background of plants.

    No.

    It’s a Galactic Space Dragon (sometimes also known as a Soup Dragon) dragging an arm of a spiral galaxy along with it as it heads directly towards you at near-light speeds, shifting the color of the stellar background, imaged by the star-sized HALT (Huger Absolutely Large Telescope), which famously uses a pair of black holes as a gravitational lens.
