Conservative challenger bashes other religion


The Kentucky GOP gubernatorial nominee David Williams unloaded on his democratic rival, Gov. Steve Beshear, for attending a Hindu religious ceremony last week which involved prayer to what Williams seems to feel is the wrong magic invisible sky wizard:

He’s there participating with Hindu priests, participating in a religious ceremony,” Williams said during a campaign stop in Shelbyville. “They can say what they want to. He’s sitting down there with his legs crossed, participating in Hindu prayers with a dot on his forehead with incense burning around him. I don’t know what the man was thinking.”

That’s right. What is he thinking? How Dare He! The governor should be down there wearing an execution device around his neck and praying to our god. Let’s let Frank Zappa explain:
