Ron Paul under scrutiny for another batch of crazy newsletter articles

Ron Paul, quasi-libertarian (Except when he agrees with Big Gubmint inspection of reproductive genitalia) front runner, is under intense scrutiny for another batch of racist, prejudiced laced missives smearing everyone from Jews to gays to secret world-wide conspiracies of the Black Man and Black Helicopter kinds and, of course, the Clintons as America’s number one crime family. Some of this sounds quite ugly, but it’s not clear just how Paul was involved or if he was much involved at all. So far his campaign has issued no official explanation or statement that I’m aware of on these new revelations:

(TPM) — [B]lack males age 13 who have been raised on the streets and who have joined criminal gangs are as big, strong, tough, scary and culpable as any adult, and should be treated as such.” …
Another issue from 1993 defended Marge Schott, who used to own the Cincinatti Reds, after she notoriously referred to her players as “million-dollar niggers.” …
In one 1988 issue, the newsletters suggest Israeli involvement in a terrorist attack in Berlin, foreshadowing a similar suggestion in a previously released issue that Israel may have been behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. … Gays and especially AIDS victims were frequent targets, with a boatload of junk science cited to back up its hateful claims. An advertised book purported to tell the “the true and horrifying story of the witch-lesbo-feminists who are running America.” …

What amazing luck for Mitt Romney and perhaps one or two other that this Nazi shit came out when it did. Coincidence, eh?

I don’t get it. How is this different from everything else that’s come out about the newsletters? If his half-assed excuse was good enough for Iowa & New Hampshire voters, I don’t see why it doesn’t also apply to this new material.

The witch-lesbo-feminist book is this one:

The Amazon description doesn’t mention witch-lesbo-feminists, per se, but it does say this:

“Big Sister Is Watching You unmasks the coven of brutally correct women who now rule over us. Hillary’s regiment of hardened, militant feminists include lesbians, sex perverts, child molester advocates, Christian haters, and the most doctrinaire of communists. They possess awesome Gestapo powers. One heads the FBI, another the IRS. Five are members of the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations–subversive organizations whose goal is to end American sovereignty and bring about a global Marxist paradise.

Then there’s Hillary Rodham Clinton. What dark power does she exercise over her husband, Bill? What’s her real goal? Is she plotting behind the scenes to become President of the United States of America? Will she then go on to usher in a frightening New Millennium?”

Oh noes, They are going to castrate all the menz.

Ron Paul was a racist when it was fashionable for a Texas conservative to be a racist. Now that he’s trying to run for President in places where racism isn’t fashionable, he’s pretending that he didn’t know what was published in the newsletters with his name on the banner.
