You need some Halloween spiders

Here, have a few. These are from my collection of juvenile P. tepidariorum.

I can tell this one is going to be a big boy.

Webs! This one is an artist.

While this one is looking at me and making mystical gestures.

Hey, I’ve had dozens and dozens of trick-or-treaters come to my house tonight, and I’m nearly out of candy. Would it be OK if I started handing out spiders?

    “Why not?”

I’m not sure you could trust every potential recipient to treat their treat well. No spider deserves to be given to someone who will mistreat it!

It would be OK, as long as you first ascertain whether they have a colony of fruit flies to feed their new charges and the intelligence and expertise to feed them properly. If they do not? Nope. Same reason you don’t hand out puppies… or zebrafish…

This might interest you Doc ,there is a clip of film out on the interweb ,a guy goes to pick up what he thinks is a small
black kitten ,when he touches it ,it turns out to be a mass of baby spiders that explode everywhere .

You might freak out some parents. Unless you want them to think of you as the weird spider guy.
