Via commenter Randomfactor, The Providence Journal is running a poll to see whether Cranston should appeal the Banner case.
Go, vote, and spread the word! Swim, my little cephalophiles! Currently, the forces of good are ahead, but not by much:
Do you think Cranston should appeal the prayer banner ruling?
Yes: 44.6% (226)
No: 54.2% (275)
Not Sure: 1/2% (6)
Hercules Grytpype-Thynne says
“No” is now up to 71.3%.
JDStackpole says
I voted no, but maybe (if they have money to burn) they should appeal and presumably loose again.
Perhaps that would help the lesson to sink in.
Cuttlefish says
75% to 24% now. PZ could have accomplished that in ten minutes.
*sigh*
Randomfactor says
Amusingly enough, the poll’s being cited in the comments as proof that the majority of local residents don’t want the ruling appealed.
Cuttlefish says
I saw that, Randomfactor. And, might I add, you are seriously large and in charge in those comments!
Trebuchet says
Can we call it “sepiated”?
Randomfactor says
You can’t miss with straight lines like those.
Cuttlefish says
Trebuchet–I like it!
Randomfactor–hey, two-inch putts win tournaments!
Randomfactor says
Cranston keeps it classy: Florists refuse to deliver roses to Jessica Ahlquist.
