Mykeru manages to keep this sort of thing up ALL THE TIME. He seems to think he’s winding people up but I think they’re mostly just puzzled about why he’s bothering. He also likes to post fake serious allegations about people on other people’s timelines. Twitter doesn’t seem to care.
Does anyone know who this guy is? I mean, it’s irrelevant, but I seriously question whether there’s a public safety issue here. This kind of anti-social behavior is just unreal.
I hope he gets counseling. Or gets sent to his room without supper — whichever is more appropriate.

I would urge you to speak to a lawyer about using whatever legal recourse may be available to you. Cyberstalking and cyberbullying laws are already on the books, though they’re vastly under-utilized. At the very least, a restraining order against this guy to prevent him from coming near you.
I would still consider serving him the order — because there are conferences and such where you are publicly announced as being a speaker or on a panel. Even if he is just a little no-account cowardly schmuck — which appears to be the case.
Restraining orders have been known to serve as a wake-up call to people that their actions aren’t consequence-free. It’s quite a slap in the face.
I’ll say it again — the internet is real. Assault is real. This is assault. Pure and simple. Hiding behind the “just pixels” excuse doesn’t cut it. Not ethically, not morally, and certainly not legally.
Arm yourself with the legal tools available to you.
