In a letter or pamphlet before the election:
God KNOWS who is a Muslim. And he KNOWS who is not. Instinctively, so do you. Let me point out to all the Muslim brothers and sisters what I stand for:
I, George Galloway, do not drink alcohol and never have. Ask yourself if you believe the other candidate in this election can say that truthfully.
How does Galloway KNOW that God KNOWS what Galloway says it knows? How does Galloway KNOW that there is such a thing as “God”?
Oh, he doesn’t, it’s just electioneering, I know. But I wanted to say anyway.
It appears that Cristina Odone wrote a piece blaming Merat’s killing spree on – wait for it – secularism, but alas, the piece has been removed and can no longer be found. A bit too much, was it?
In the UK, you have Far Left pushers of sectarian religion, (mostly Islam) such as Galloway, and Right pushers of religious tradition and privilege (mostly Christianity), such as Cristina Odone.
Us sensible secularists feel like we are surrounded by ignorant and dangerous people.
Keep up the good fight.
Well, if it hadn’t been for secularism, there wouldn’t have been any Jews left running around for Merat to shoot.
So there’s that.
Is this the article you mean?

Some politicians prostitute themselves to voters. Mostly these type are insincere on everything (e.g: Romney).
If only Odone (and her poisonous male counterpart Damian Thompson) were removed and unable to be found. How great would that be?
Yes, that’s the one – I actually remembered to look for the cached version after I posted, and found it, but didn’t update.
Galloway has “believed in” God for as long as I can remember. Every time he changes his mind about something, God seems to follow suit.
>>Every time he changes his mind about something, God seems to follow suit.>>
Rather like good ol’ Mo.
@ Tim, is the Guardian far left now? It has been assiduously pushing islamists at its readers for some years now. An example would be its blatant favouring of the ennahda party in Tunisia, a country which is not short of secularists, leftists and centrists. They had jolly-looking headscarfed woman islamist writing in a week ago, and today, another useful idiot on how the islamists are not a danger at all. Nope, it is the neo-liberals we have to look out for, apparently.
And the slant of its articles on Sudan/South Sudan is to seen to be believed.
Someone denies themselves a pleasure and brags about it. Not impressed.
I do not drink alcohol and never have. I have drank a hell of a lot of beverages that contain alcohol — but never straight alcohol.
Of course it was too much, Odone wrote it.
Didn’t see this one in the News links yet. It’s relevant.
