I thought the engineers did a good job of admitting, yes, this looks like a Rube Goldberg contraption, but it’s what the technology vs demand converged on.
That is badass. If we get that craziness to sucessfully land on mars in one piece, I will be damned impressed with where our automated technology has gotten.
