The Plan, Stan

I’m obviously bothering people when I’m bullish on AI crap so I’ll stop interacting with anti- posts.  I don’t like to see bullshit unanswered, but hey, it got too heated, time to cool it.  Here’s the plan:  I’ll only post things about AI that are of positive interest to me, or more rarely, negative news *not* on FtB that I wanted to express an opinion about.  This should result in me posting about the topic more rarely.  Additionally, I’m only going to do those posts by queue, with something set to rapidly follow and replace them, so the headlines don’t linger in the sidebar, since apparently my sidebar hijinks are also an issue.

Not to say I won’t do sidebar hijinks of harmless and silly style, like I’ve done with Mano’s posts a few times before.  Just not doing fight club.  Maybe I broke the first two rules, time to go.

    incidentally, i just might be doing a comic of some kind for the first time in years. if i do, i’ll post some images and things about it as i go. not going to do webcomic style installments, but a full book or several issues in a limited run.

    I don’t interact with the AI posts because I don’t have anything much to say, I’m not excited either way, although I’m generally against because of the ownership yada yada yada. Same way I try and avoid using any of the billionaires’ companies.

    you don’t hafta justify it. i work in the usa so five days a week i directly fund genocide and war, and on sundays at the grocery store i’m rewarding billionaires for labor exploitation, environmental devastation, and a nonzero amount of child slavery and counterrevolutionary repression and mass murder.

    if i have sufficient need for a given thing i’ll get it. i don’t need ai products enough to pay for any presently, so i’m just speeding the bubble burst when i do use them. hands clean.

    and if someone does need ai products enough to pay for them? zero guff from me. i commend them for having the courage to take care of their needs in a way that society wants to shit on em for.
