The debate between Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly below the fold in its entirety. Stewart is magnificent as usual, but what’s interesting is Billo’s perfomance. This is a great example of right-wing misinformation tactics. Apply ‘principles’ arbitrarily based on ideology, change the subject when cornered, attack when really cornered, lie your ass off and hope you don’t get called on it. Obama would be well served to observe this carefully.

The vid is no longer available on the above link (oct 8 @ 1:30 EST). I think they were doing it for charity ($5) and it makes sense that they are limiting the ‘free’ distribution.

Watching it right now. I purchased tickets to watch it online live. It was AWESOME!
So I’m watching it again.
:D
I’d offer to upload it for people, but a) much of the proceeds are going to charity and b) I don’t know how visible these forums are, and I don’t want to get into trouble.
Email me, however, and we can work something out…
Or… you know… you could go to http://www.therumble2012.com/ and spend the measly $5 to download the video. It’s worth-it. Trust me.
Stewart tears O’Reilly a new hole. Honestly… if the first Presidential debate had gone like this (Romney being O’Reilly, Obama being Stewart), not only would Obama have won, but there’d be no need for any other debate or even an election… it’d be a lock.

Nup. Getting nothing but a “This video has been removed by the user” message.
Damn. Wanted to see that. :-(

@3.NateHevens :
From all I gather it already is. Obama should win easily.
Is there really – has there ever been really any “need” for the presidential “debates”?

In anything resembling a fair race, yes. However, Republican voter registration fraud is massive and so far, seems likely to be massively effective. It doesn’t matter if millions more want to vote for Obama if millions of Obama voters get turned away at the polls, and Republicans have very clearly demonstrated that they hate democracy.
