I’m actually heading back to school tomorrow as a student hoping I can finish my IT degree and get out of the doldrums of customer service and start a real career. (At 49. 🙁) This isn’t my first rodeo, but I’m excited and nervous all at once.
PZ, as you start your new semester, you obviously don’t need to fear the spiders. But, watch our for that cute bunny with the blood dripping from its fangs.

I’ve had a hard time with school, and it took me some 16(?) calendar years and about ~8 years full-time equivalent of schooling before I finally completed my bachelor’s.
I’m about your age, and someone I know through work is getting close to finishing up a Bachelor’s of Engineering, and they are a couple years older than me. And over the years, I’ve known other people starting or returning to school a few decades or so into life. It’s a little unusual, but far from unheard of.

School starts again on Monday. New school, new class, everything new. I’m pretty nervous.

Good luck Akira, I have thought I’d have done a better if I did my degree later rather than straight after school. I had too much growing up to do, then my mum died in my second year which, as you can imagine didn’t help.
Giliell, I am confident you will be fine once you have got over the initial hard work. You care, and that makes a lot of difference to your pupils.
