Priorities!

It’s a simple point.

Someone on TikTok pointed out there are more kids in Texas with measles than trans college athletes in all of America.
Guess which they want you focused on?

Pretty soon it’ll be more kids have DIED of measles than there are trans athletes.

I wonder how many of those kids will end up blind due to measles? Are these idiots even aware that blindness is a side effect of measles infection?

Next up, maybe they will all have mumps parties, to see how many of their sons end up sterile, and maybe some polio, so they can have shriveled crippled limbs, assuming they survive the infection.

Personally, I’m hoping for measles to spread into the unvaccinated male adult population. Might be the only way for a serious treatment protocol to occur.

It may be an overreaction, but in the past week, I’ve had my cousins who are visiting West Texas next week (over a hundred miles from the outbreak) ask me if they should get a measles booster before flying, and friends here in Austin wondering out loud if they should be doing the same thing.

It’s been decades since people have even thought of having these types of conversations.

tacitus, I got an MMR vaccine as soon as the election results were announced. (To the best of my knowledge I was vaccinated against measles and rubella but not mumps – the policy was to vaccinate boys who had not yet gotten the mumps at age 8 and girls who had not yet gotten rubella at age 12, but it is common for these vaccines to wear off over the decades)

Yup. Thanks RFK Jr and the anti-vaxxer fools. You shouldn’t have. Really you shouldn’t have.

On the plus side, Tesla Stock was off 15% in heavy trading during the day and another 3% in after hours trading.

If a strain of bird flu starts to be transmitted between humans, there will be awful consequences for USA. Not so much the rest of the world, which have taken precautions and prepared rolling out vaccine programs.
This – if it happens – will be the ultimate triumph of base character over intellect. Even worse than COVID.
