This seems very unfair to the original Nosferatu.
@2 got here first (Sun’s still up where I am), but yeah, Nosferatu had some obvious skills and great charm, with a very infectious toothy smile. On or off camera, he also didn’t bother with what was inside his trousers, going straight for the neck — and would never be seen outside a landscaping company mistaken for his castle (much less in the sunlight or leaking hair dye).

Giulani is a monster without a sense of irony. Like most real-world bad guys.
Movie villains know their role, usually. Giulani thinks that he’s never done anything wrong, and if he did it was for a good cause, e.g. himself. Why does the public keep handing me these incredibly drinkable virgins and staring at me meaningfully? Don’t they know what’s going to happen to them? I’m just standing my ground next to her bed! It’s gustatory self-defense!!
