I have been warning people since before the 2016 election it was going to come to this. I was called paranoid, crazy, “loonie liberal” (yeah fuck you, no loonier than the average Finn or Canadian). And now here we are.
Mostly what people will be saying it “oh my God, I didn’t know it could happen so FAST.” Which I warned them about to. Did a previous incarnation of mine cheat on Apollo or something? Was I supposed to have been named Cassandra? Uuuuugh.
Now President Biden and Congress have to get the COVID package passed in order for the United States to start the recovery. That won’t stop most of the insurrectionists, nor fix the deep problems with the US. But it might take some fuel away from the fire raging in our country.
