I entered ‘Maajid Nawaz’ into Twitter, and read various messages of support for him from British Muslims and/or ex-Muslims (I have based my assumptions on the Islamic names of the posters).
Nawaz, and his Quillam foundation, confound me somewhat. I saw no value in the recent PR stunt which saw Nawaz appearing shoulder to shoulder Tommy Robinson, founder of the violent fascist organization EDL, which have victimized South Asians in Britain in recent years.

As for Galloway, and the dreadful Liberal Democrat party for that matter, a plague on both their houses.
My first reaction (ie reflexive instinct 😉 ) on learning that Galloway is against someone or other is to assume that they must be OK in my book. No other qualification required.

Quilliam is a counter-extremist organization. So far it has mainly countered Muslim extremism and the point of drawing Robinson in was to counter anti-Muslim extremism too.
Why complain about the inclusion of Robinson when some of their other members have been involved with jihadism?
