I’m so excited to be in the list of speakers, and I confess, a bit intimidated by all the big names! Looking forward to an exciting conference and to meeting all of you. I would like to thank Melody Hensley for inviting me and David Tamayo from Hispanic American Freethinkers for suggesting my name to her.
I’m so gonna try to get the money to attend this conference. If I can only make it to one next year, this one is my choice.
I am REALLY intent on making this conference. Coming from Australia so have a few logistical and financial milestone to reach this year but it’s looking doable. And I can combine it with a holiday in New Orleans where I’ve never been but I’m sure is my spiritual home. Katha Pollitt!

Can you help differentiate between Atheism+ and Women in Secularism?
My very brief look is that the two are remarkably similar in orientation, principles, goals, and even membership.
How are they different?

Thank you, I did see that, and I am long out of the conference circuit, but my very loose understanding was that conferences are usually associated with some organization.
If WiS is “orphaned” it would seem to have a natural affiliation as one of the conferences of Atheism+.
It’s not orphaned. It’s a CFI conference. All this is very easy to find out.
