I’m not really into the Bond series, but I do love the acting of Idris Elba. His portrayal of Stringer Bell in “The Wire” went a long way towards making that show as incredible as it is.

I don’t like most Bond films but there are a few I absolutely love.
And I’d be thrilled to have Idris Elba as James Bond. Anyone who is believable as an attractive, sophisticated, potentially seductive male British government agent who can fight (to be honest, he’s always been a little weak on the actual spying part; his cover is blown in no time in every movie 🙂 ) could be Bond.
Anyone who thinks Britain is racially homogenous should go there and see that they’re wrong.
