Last sunset over the Pacific for awhile. (I’m leaving tomorrow.) Nice that it was a spectacular day and evening.
I haven’t seen any sea otters in years though. That’s no good. I used to see lots.

California misses you, I can tell. And the news about the otters breaks my goddamn heart. Are the kelp beds OK?

Well Claire I read something that said actually otter numbers are doing better rather than worse. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck, I don’t know.
