John Oliver reminds us that the cruel and inhumane policy of separating children from their parents is still very much with us as large numbers of children have not been reunited and, incredibly, some cannot even be found in the system.

Yeah, I’ve seen several videos of parents being reunited where the kids acted exactly like this: absent, fearful, distanced. They are so young, they cannot comprehend what happened and they have likely been told that it’s all their parents’ fault.
