Marco Rubio asserts that he cannot see any evidence of discriminatory actions against Muslims in America. Has he not heard of the internet? It has been full of news stories about random people are perceived to look like Muslims being targeted for harassment as you can see here, here, and here.
Chris Hayes gives one example of how right-wing media have been fanning the flames of anti-Muslim hysteria, similar to the way other groups (like Jews and Catholics) were vilified in the past.
Larry Wilmore helps Rubio out though I suspect that Rubio knows full well what is going on but is simply feigning ignorance. In this montage, Wilmore shows a clip with a white man calmly walking down a street following a Muslim woman, his face covered with a mask and carrying an assault weapon. How can it be that this is now considered acceptable behavior? Imagine if the person with the weapon had been black or dressed in a way that suggested non-Christian beliefs?
(This clip aired on December 9, 2015. To get suggestions on how to view clips of The Daily Show and The Nightly Show outside the US, please see this earlier post. If the videos autoplay, please see here for a diagnosis and possible solutions.)

As well as all the US examples there are plenty of others globally including in Australia and Britain among other Western nations. For instance :

The malign influence of the “Religious Right” Tea Party and the rantings of Trump haven’t just been restricted to the United States.
That “hunt camp” graffiti” in that second ‘Crooks & Liars’ link is arguable and weird but yeah. Not good -for anyone in our globe or orbiting above it ultimately really.

Rubio is a creepy guy who lies a lot. Nothing new about that.
1. There have been 30 to 40 attacks on Moslems or their property in the last few weeks.
2. A mosque in Coachella, California was firebombed. A mosque in Florida was vandalized by a xian extremist. Some idiot attacked a Sikh temple in California, not understanding that Sikhs aren’t Moslems and in fact, the two groups don’t much like each other. One Moslem family had their house torched.
3. These are hate crimes. They are also almost certainly yet again, another act of…xian terrorism.

Mosque had a pig’s head thrown at the door.[1] Probably not discriminatory.
Does Rubio consider Trump’s anti-hispanic attitude to be discriminatory?

This was the headline this morning on my news feed.
Rubio is such an obvious liar. He’s done this before, just flat out lied, not caring that everyone but his religion addled followers knows it is a lie.
Shots have been fired at Moslems and their buildings in multiple locations. So far none have been killed. It’s probably a matter of time until some Moslem is.

How is a masked guy with a rifle stalking a woman not getting picked up by the cops? That’s gotta be violating at least a couple laws (disturbing the peace, menacing, etc…)
Oh wait, he’s a white guy…
