    That’s a really interesting article. Even if you expect it, it’s just amazing how much the spokespeople of religions will lie.

    I don’t remember if I already linked you to this earlier, but this is a Mormon version of the above Scientology letter. It’s lengthy but if you have the time it is well worth reading. The actual resignation letter (in Part 1) is especially moving. The latter two parts are for those who are interested in the church’s (obnoxious) response.

    I read this entire article yesterday over lunch. While it was nice to see even more proof that Scientology is an abusive, manipulative, power-bent organization that feasts on the weaknesses of its members and doesn’t deserve the tax benefits it gets, I was disappointed to see read that most of the ex-members still believe in the “technology” they were taught and are just disgruntled with the Scientology organization. It’s like saying, “I’m not religious, I’m spiritual.” It’s nice to see them fight against the organization, but they are still brainwashed. They’ve got a long way to go.
