    The medical conditions we can see on TV, his heart failure legs, the anticoagulant use bruises. The malignant narcissism we can observe from listening to his speeches. 3 or 4 cognitive tests in a year, well I’m sure there’s a reason for that too, monitoring the decline for example. But he doesn’t strike me as someone who is about to fall over dead, baring some sudden disaster.
    And, anyone who comes after him will likely be worse, and more cunning and capable.

    There was some guy on YouTube who was making these short videos where he’d declare his medical qualifications, and then baldly predict that the latest stupid gaffe from DJT meant he was going to be dead in a few weeks, or a month, or by the end of the year. I blocked him it was so tiresome. Shithouse rats are incredibly tough, or they wouldn’t be shithouse rats, and you can’t predict their longevity.

    He actually did say “b” at the end. I wouldn’t have said anything about the typo, but it reminded me of a social media post where someone had used the word “dumb” in another context and someone else replied, “Dude, how did you type that reversed ‘d’?” Found the maga voter…

    I dunno, maybe the Great Pumpkin is dyslexic and that’s why he never learned to read. So every time he learns a new word like “groceries” or “dumb” he thinks he’s discovered some ancient arcane wisdom he’s ordained to teach to the masses.

    rorschach @#2 — Just FYI: I don’t know his medication regimen, but I have Purpura and I’m not taking an anticoagulant. I do take a calcium channel blocker. According to Business Insider this is DJT’s medication regimen: Crestor (Rosuvastatin, a statin) for high cholesterol, daily aspirin to prevent heart attacks, antibiotics for skin rosacea, Propecia for baldness, and Ambien for sleep.

    He doesn’t take anything for stupid because he’s too stupid to know he’s stupid…totally typical American.

    Trump’s bragging about a cognitive test is a good example of lay misunderstanding of tests. Tests can reveal pathology, but as often as not tests are used to identify pathology that is noticed through other means. The possibility that Trump “passed” a fairly simple cognitive test simply means that the wrong test was chosen: a man who exhibits clear signs of dementia should be tested more broadly to pinpoint the exact nature of his mental illness.

    And, many, I’m sure, will hope the light he is to go into is a blast furnace. (However, I personally, would never hope for that, since it would violate the rules of the Infinite Thread. sarcasimus maximus)
    It is amazing how his mass destruction of everything is swinging around some with his battle with naziyahoo, Iran telling him to stuff it, having his name removed from the Kennedy center, his $1.77 billion dollar grift blow up, etc. I just hope everything about him can be erased from the face of the earth.

    I reply, you are correct. tRUMP obviously has the medical equivalent of the Dunning-Kruger Effect – effectively, too arrogant and stupid to know he is arrogant and stupid.

    For the record, I never quoted him, just noted that he said “b.” :) I’m not certain, but I think the source you linked was where I heard him say that.     His latest example of obscenely far too many is dismantkling a critical ocena monitoring netowork of bouys :

    A Trump administration memo leaked in April proposes a $2.5 billion cut to the Department of Commerce, which oversees NOAA, in the 2026 federal budget.

    Part of the proposal calls for eliminating federal funding for the regional monitoring networks, even though the memo says one of the activities the administration wants the commerce department to focus on is collecting ocean and weather data.

    The memo offered no other justifications for the cuts. The proposal stunned network users.

    “We’ve worked so hard to build an incredible system and it’s running smoothly, providing data that’s important to the economy. Why would you break it?” said Jack Barth, an Oregon State oceanographer who shares data with the Pacific Northwest association. “What we’re providing is a window into the ocean and without those measures we frankly won’t know what’s coming at us. It’s like turning off the headlights,” Barth said.

My post at #8 explicitly pointed out that that’s what he said: “He actually did say “b” at the end.” I also (correctly) quoted him as saying “b” in the clip you linked to (without your first confirming what you were linking to? Seems a touch sloppy for a disciple of truth, unless you meant Truth Social where that’s the norm). The only time I even mentioned a “d” was in reference to a social media post where someone (meaning not Trump) had used the word “dumb” in another context and the respondent somehow thought the “b” in “dumb” was a reversed “d.”

    A claim he doesn’t have a Swedish schoolkid’s level of English proficiency.

Often he is seeming to talk, or argue, or whatever in good faith, but that is only because good faith in that way is rewarded here. If it was insult that got you to respond so he could respond further, he’d do that. Has done with me. If it was making up nits to pick, it would be that. If it was… you get the idea. You will NEVER get the last word, you will never convince him of a finally refuting point. He will respond to me, to this post. He will respond to you if you interact any further. This I confidently predict, as I have done in the past and have almost never been wrong.
