Franklin Police said one of the groups consisted of people carrying signs that read “White Lives Matter” and “Stop White Replacement.” They added that another group, who said they were a buffer between festival-goers and the other group, included people who were armed and wearing ballistic vests.
Members of each group were also reportedly handling out pamphlets saying they are protesting because “the anti-white system is committed to our physical genocide” to festival attendees before police arrived.
Juneteenth is supposed to be a community celebration; you get together and have picnics and talk with each other. Why would you need AR-15s or bullet proof vests for that? The signs also help explain their intent — these were simply dumbass racists.
Also, I’m curious. These were probably the same people who were outraged at mask mandates, yet here they are, willingly wearing masks. Do you think they’ve had a change of heart, seen the rising infection numbers, and decided to protect themselves from COVID?
They probably had to wear the masks because the bed sheets are in the wash.
Pardon me if I’m overtly displaying my punk side, and I hope I’m not out of line, but that looks like a hell of a target for a molotov cocktail. Delete this comment if it is out of line, but I really feel that strongly about these sorts of people.

The Great Replacement is the idea that a bunch of white, homophobic, misogynistic, religiously conservative racists will be replaced by the very people that they are prejudiced against, right?

Hahaha…NO. But it does raise the point, had only some enterprising entrepreneur come up with a N-95 White Hood, we could have cut our COVID death toll by 70% or more. Plus we’d be well educated at just exactly who the racist shitheads are.

They wear masks because they are cowards. They dont even have the courage of their convictions, and they are afraid to be identified with what they say.
These are likely the same idiots who blare out, “All Lives Matter!” in direct response to the shouting of “Black Lives Matter!” while trying to conceal their hypocrisy of showing favoritism towards white lives only.

yes that is the same reason that it used to be a hood which is now too old fashion.
The masks and or the hood are also effective in the terrorist eliciting fear aspect for their target groups.
They know what they are advocating is not legal even if the laws are not enforced equally
they do look kind of funny all bunched up like that, not very bold confident and powerful at all
I wonder if some heads would explode if it was pointed out that one of the side effects of banning abortion would be speeding up white replacement.

Personally, I’m a bit slow to get violent, and generally dislike conflict and confrontation, but I can’t fault someone else for reacting violently in defense of self or others.

It’s my understanding that the stupid skull mask grew out of a fetish for The Punisher (the comic). You see these masks on the Proud Boys-loser-incel crowd because they think it makes them look threatening somehow. Basically, this particular skull motif was misappropriated by the white supremacist asshats in preference to the full sheet and hood getup. Apparently some of the idiots realized it made them look like they went to the worst slumber party/sleepover and switched to a different stupid look.
Given that those masks are basically thin neck gaiters, they are functionally useless as far as preventing the transmission of Covid 19, which given how close they are all standing to each other and how they generally disdain any other Covid preventative measures, gives me hope for the future. Or more accurately, their lack of one.

Its OK these were Klan approved probationary masks. They haven’t graduated to stealing white bedsheets off clotheslines yet.

Personally so far I see that any difference between ‘Murrica and civilized world can be explained by one of 3 issues:
1. Blind adherence to old ideas that happened to get into constitution (like in most Europe Nazi party would be banned, but freedom of speech in USA makes it legal to almost openly advocate for genocide, similarly with gun control, 2nd amendment makes US the only country when argument “you need gun to defend yourself” is true, because almost everyone has it)
2. Corporate greed (for example americans are fat, because workers rights are nonexistetnt so people are too tired to cook themselves and agro lobby made it legal to feed them with overprocessed crap mixed with corn syrup)
3. racism (In europe tipping become a fad only as import from US, the same with private pools next to your home or…. well, I’m pretty sure it would be long list…)
Is any glaring difference between Europe and USA not falling under one of those 3 categories?
