Irresponsible slacker

And he doesn’t even live in Washington state, so he can’t use dope as an excuse! Or maybe it’s a hint that after the passage of the liberal marijuana laws, he’s moving to Seattle. Sean Carroll has announced that he’s leaving his site on Discover and moving back to Preposterous Universe, so update your blogrolls. His excuse is that he’s happiest with the least personal responsibility, which I think is code for ordering a pizza and putting a Lord of the Rings marathon on the DVD player.

Which I’m down with, man. High five!

what is happening over at Discover? First Phil bailed, and now Sean. i might have to enable RSS in order to follow them now: too many websites to visit!

hmmm…maybe FTB should nab them all…

@1.robb : I sure wish FTB could get the Bad Astronomy blog here. Really disliking the slate approach, formatting and commenting section for that – and generally – and think FTB has that pretty good!

(So, umm.. please can we not change and keep things good here at FTB k’thx?)

The Discover blogcomplex thingummywhatsit had things set up and looking and working the best in my view – can’t understand why they’re losing bloggers – but, of course, just found they’ve changed ’em for the worse as well.

Now where did that ‘Yep, seconded’ that was supposed to be at the very start of my above comment after the @robb get too?

(Looks around around, whistles and calls down the street for it.)

Just seen on the last thread scrolling down :

Police spokesman Jonah Spangenthal-Lee wrote on the SPD Blotter that officers will be advising people to take their weed inside.

Or as Spangenthal-Lee put it: “The police department believes that, under state law, you may responsibly get baked, order some pizzas and enjoy a ‘Lord of the Rings’ marathon in the privacy of your own home, if you want to.”

    Now added to by :

Hmm… Is that what you two get up to when you’re not blogging here eh? (Half your luck!)
