Where my teleworkers at? My workplace was shut down without full preparation for everyone to go on telework, so until they acquire a lot more gear, I’m getting paid to chill and check my email sometimes. My last job was Malwart, so while it’s a shame to not have the inside track on getting groceries with less hassle, my situation is a lot less cruel. #blessed lol.
Anyway, I know I’m lucky as hell here, even though it took 3 hours to get groceries at the Winco this morning. How are you?

Hey, my job isn’t sure what it’s doing yet. Still expected to come in, not sure if we’re getting paid. Best of both worlds! Tired of winning yet?
Hey, that’s awesome you get paid to stay home! Good for you!
So far our area is good, we’re all trying to help each other out – leave a dozen eggs at the gate for someone who’s out, stuff like that. I’m very lucky, because I live way out on a farm and raise chickens. I can be socially distanced any time I like, and I can do it outside.
ay-nony, I haven’t been doing much winning lately so this is a welcome change of pace. Sorry about you deal, though.
kestrel, Sounds like a blast. Chicken time.
Paid to work at home, but not stay at home.
Is that normal, or current circumstances for you?
Well, I normally work from home, as I’m an author. But with the rest of my household now staying home (but not working), it seems unlikely I’ll be getting any writing done in the immediate future! Too much going on all the time!
Just in time for camp nanowrimo.
