Convenience Sampling

My personal proposal is the policy we need
(I asked my friends and family, and every one agreed)
I need a larger sample? Well, there’s nothing wrong with that—
Again, complete agreement with my views. (I asked my cat.)

Too true! “All right-thinking people (my family) do it this way.”

I think your cat is a better sampling method than one that was used recently by another. At least there was a decent chance that the cat would disagree with you…

My cat never agrees with me unless the question is “food” or “pettings”.

What’s bad is that my own sample size of one doesn’t always agree with my opinion. I suppose it’s the result of being a contrarian. :-)
Makes drawing the bell curve a lot easier though.
