In town at last

W00t!! I’ve lined up a copy of Charlie Hebdo I get to have!

Bulldog News on the Ave in the U District in Seattle.

It will be mine! I will have it!

And a little more will go into the pot for the victims’ survivors.

Ophelia, any tiny chance you would pick me up a copy? You could email me to arrange payment. I would so like to have a copy.

Oh, sorry, yazikus – by the time you typed that I had already been to Bulldog and left. Once I knew a copy was within reach, even though they were holding it for me, I couldn’t pause until I got my hands on it. I won’t be near there again very soon – I had the use of a car today but won’t again for more than two weeks.

No worries, Ophelia, it was a long shot! There are perks to living not out in the boonies, where I live. On the other hand, it only takes me like seven minutes to drive from one end of town to the other, and I get to complain about ‘traffic’ when there are more than about five cars on a four lane st. Alas, I’ll have to wait to see if one of the local institutions of higher education gets one it.

I AM insanely jealous and I’m not even going to pretend otherwise.

Any chance you’re taking pics and working up a blog entry on it?

Well now keep looking, all – Bulldog got its copies only on Wednesday – before that they were saying they couldn’t, and weren’t going to be able to. That indicates to me that the reach is gradually growing, so check with bookstores and newsagents.
