Dear lard. I actually bought and read a book of hers years ago (iirc “Who Killed Feminism”?) before I’d ever heard of her. To paraphrase Dorothy Parker: This is not a book to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force.
You have to feel some concern about the life experiences of anyone who considers Mitt Romney the ultimate male anything…
Errr… yes? That I want all those numbers to be as close to zero as possible doesn’t mean that I want women to be wrapped in cotton wool against their wills to prevent them from adding to those figures.
I guess I’m just not sure of what the rhetorical point Hoff Sommers is trying to make here.
