Personally, I find Civ V rather disappointing compared to modded Civ IV: Beyond the Sword. I guess it’ll take them a while to catch up with the Civ IV modding community.

I’ve been playing Civ since Civ II. I miss the Elvis, Army Guy and Scientist advisors…Also the Dinotopia mod.

Monty’s a douche, but at least he’s consistent. You always know what to do if you start near him. The ones who have been giving me a hard time are Ceasar and Hiawatha, who have both been totally unpredictable in my games.

Is Civ 5 better than Civ 3 or 4? I was disappointed by both of those games. In the case of Civ 3, it wasn’t even worth playing. Civ 4 was better, but it was not worth playing when I had Civ 2 available.
