Late night comedians on the Alabama election

The talk and comedy show hosts have been having a lot of fun at the expense of Roy Moore,, Steve Bannon, and Donald trump following the Alabama senate election. Stephen Colbert looks at all Donald Trump’s flip-flops as he tries to disassociate himself from losers.

The Daily Show devoted multiple segments to this. The first was Trevor Noah’s commentary.

Then correspondent Roy Wood Jr. revealed that the result made him feel that it was safe to reveal that he hails from Alabama, something that he had avoided so far out of embarrassment.

Then Dulce Sloan talked about the role of the black women’s vote.

So, how long will Doug Jones stay a Democrat?

The vital information missing in the whole “Alabama has not elected a Democrat to the Senate since 1992” trope is that that Democrat was current Republican Senator Richard Shelby who changed parties in 1994.

    This may not end well.
