In 2003, comedian Dave Chappelle began a sketch comedy show on Comedy Central that was highly acclaimed because it took head-on all the major hot button issues of the day. But after just two seasons he abruptly quit, saying he was fed up with show business and fame. Here is one of the best known sketches from the show, the story of a KKK leader named Clayton Bigsby, told in the style of a Frontline documentary. (Language advisory)

My favorite sketch.
Let me it be noted that Dave Chappelle quit because many people were not appreciating the obvious satire, and instead were taking the jokes literally, contrary to the intended purpose of mocking racism. (There’s a longer story about a content control dispute, but IMHO this is an accurate short description.)

Comedy gold.

Dave Chappelle was/is a genius in his field and this one was the best one of all. I think he had a case of temporary burnout from delivering at this level on a regular basis.
