Benghazi-gate

For reasons that are not at all clear to me, Fox News seems to think that the story of the attack on the US consulate in Banghazi that resulted in the deaths of four diplomats is a huge story in this election and is pushing it relentlessly, though there is no evidence that people care that much about it.

I mentioned the full-age ad in our local paper promoting a one-hour special last week that I did not watch. That special report seemed to get much less attention than Donald Trump’s ‘big bombshell’ about Obama that has turned him into an even greater object of ridicule than before, if that is even possible.

Stephen Colbert takes a close look at Fox News’s obsession with Benghazi-gate. And asks some questions.

It showns how un-willing-to-shed-blood whatshisface is?

Which is bullshit, because they’re both willing to shed as much of anyone else’s blood as they want. Let alone need.

I do think it odd how willing to persecute the man they are over this when a much better case could have been made about George W. Bush and his failing to stop 9/11--which Democrats largely didn’t have the stomach to do.
