On his weekly podcast, he spoke with the Democratic candidate for the senate seat in Michigan. The interview lasts about 90 minutes and is engrossing.
El-Sayed comes across as charismatic, likeable, whip smart, principled, disciplined, and focused on the key issues. I can see why Trump, Republicans, oligarchs, Big Pharma, the hospital and Israeli lobbies, the tech billionaires, and other powerful interests are freaked out by the possibility of him winning and are throwing huge amounts of money into the race to try and defeat him.
Mo Amer talks about the unhinged Islamophobia on display and the extreme labels that the right are trying to pin on him.

I voted for Abdul two weeks ago. I wish there was a way to tell all the campaigns that I voted two weeks ago so they would stop emailing and texting me. I’m starting to block numbers on my phone because I don’t want to get 4-5 text messages a day telling me who I should vote for. I’ve never blocked anyone before, but it’s a real nuisance. Especially from those candidates who are outside of my state and will not represent me.
But I watched Stewart’s interview and it is worth a look. Particularly the last 10 minutes or so when Stewart and his staff discuss the differences between the questions Abdul gets in his campaign stops from Michigan citizens, and the questions the national reporters ask.
Republican voters will learn nothing about him, except the narrative from the billionaire-owned legacy press and the unhinged claims by Fox News.
I fully expect them to simultaneously claim he is an atheist and a militant muslim.
