If only we could get rid of all the anti-immigrationists so easily

Milo, looking glum

I’m torn. I think the government has gone way overboard on deportations — let the people pursue happiness! — but yeesh, it’s Milo Yiannopoulos.

Far-right political commentator and deportation advocate Milo Yiannopoulos is currently in Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody facing a final order of removal, according to U.S. officials and agency records.

Yiannopoulos, who is British, was apprehended in the New Orleans area and is being held in a Louisiana ICE holding facility, the U.S. officials said. A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson said Yiannopoulos came to the U.S. legally in 2019 but “chose to overstay his welcome in violation of our nation’s laws.”

I was feeling a twinge of sympathy, both because I hate ICE and because he sure looks down in the dumps in his mugshot, but then, I was served with some quotes…

California needs ICE checkpoints at supermarket entrances, gas stations, strip malls, intersections and government buildings, with on the spot deportation for anyone who can’t prove they are in the US legally, he posted on social media in June 2025.

Total legal immunity for ICE agents when they’re on duty, he wrote in September 2025.

There is one concrete thing we must insist on this administration delivering, he wrote in June 2025. It matters a lot more than debts measured in imaginary money. We have got to deport millions and millions of people. Without that, nothing else matters.

Yeah, throw his ass out of the country.

They won’t. Trump will catch wind of this and save him at the last moment. Along with a million-dollar stipend from the insurrectionist fund for his troubles.

The UK hasn’t yet put in the formal extradition papers for the Tates. They were arrested under a provision in the treaty that allows the UK to get he US to arrest them and hold them pending a full request as they are a flight risk. The deadline is mid-September, and although the Tates’ lawyers have said they will get Trump to intervene, the Secretary of State’s office (in whose purview extradition falls) have indicated that they won’t intervene if the judicial process indicates they should be extradited. Bending the rules for sex offenders is not something Trump is going to do this close to the midterms whilst everyone is still shouting about Epstein.

Poor Milo…All that, and he’s in the middle of divorcing his estranged husband. Plus it seems his sometimes compatriot Laura Loomer is taken credit for ratting him out to ICE.

I guess because his hair isn’t frosted, but he sure looks different. Did not recognize him.

Hard for me to say whether I despise him enough to surpass my hatred of ICE. I guess it’s both ironic and poetic justice in Milo’s case but the deportations should have never gotten even to a slight fraction of what they have been.

Maybe a case could be made for deporting Milo, but not in the manner ICE carries this stuff out. Good riddance to the Tates too.

I think, as part of having a strong sense of empathy, one also learns with time to express it with some discretion.

In a country where speech is, “protected,” he thought his speech would protect him.
    It might still.

    Why now?
He must have done something to tick off someone in the power structure.

    I’ve always disliked him intensely.
Just a no talent hate merchant.

Couple charged in shooting of protester at Milo …
    The Guardian
    .
Apr 25, 2017 — Elizabeth Hokoana, 29, was charged with first-degree assault for shooting a 34-year-old protester in the abdomen. Her husband, Marc Hokoana, …

I remember when two of his followers shot a counter-demonstrator at his rally at the University of Washington.

They managed to beat the rap in court despite the fact that they brought a gun to the rally and shot an unarmed protester.

    microraptor @12
He’s more obsessed over the plight of Nathan Cofnas after the death of Jason Arday who he was previously obsessed about. I haven’t seen Milo on his radar yet.

He’s really obsessed with Israel. I mean much if not most of his content is Israel atrocity apologia. I doubt Milo even registers between the importance of Israel first, Cofnas second, and AOC’s frozen eggs a now very distant third. He feigned disinterest in the latter but kept talking about it. AOC is rent free in his head but well behind critics of Israel (synonymous with antisemitism for him).

Weird dude Coyne. Makes a big deal over refusing going to Vietnam but apparently US service members defending Israel is highest imperative. If not on board with going after Iran because the Iranian people (ahem Israel really instead) you are an antisemite. How it goes at WEIT.

Milo, meet your own petard. 😂🤣😁👏

Also, fuck him for telling us who we can and can’t have here when he’s an alien himself.

    Milo who?

Milo Yiannopoulos (/jəˈnɒpələs/ yə-NOP-əl-əs;[10]; né Hanrahan, born 18 October 1984) is a British far-right conspiratorial political commentator,[2] whose speeches and writings criticise Islam, feminism, and social justice.[11][12][13] He is a former editor of Breitbart News, an conservative news and opinion website.[14]

Yiannopoulos worked for Breitbart from 2014 to 2017. During this time, he rose to prominence as a significant voice in the Gamergate controversy. In July 2016, he was banned from Twitter for online harassment of actress Leslie Jones.[15][16] He was permanently banned from Facebook in 2019.[17] According to emails by Yiannopoulos leaked by BuzzFeed News in late 2017, Yiannopoulos solicited white nationalists, such as American Renaissance editor Devin Saucier, for story ideas and editing suggestions during his tenure at Breitbart.[14]

In 2017, video clips circulated of Yiannopoulos stating that sexual relationships between 13-year-old boys and adults could be “perfectly consensual” and positive experiences for adolescents.

    … (Snip)…

In 2022, Yiannopoulos served as an intern for United States Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene,[22] later working with white nationalist Nick Fuentes, and rapper Kanye West on the latter’s short-lived 2024 U.S. presidential election campaign.

    ..(Snip)..

As of 2026, Yiannopoulos has resumed work with West, serving as his spokesperson and legal liaison.

Note his wikipage hasn’t yet been updated with this latest news yet.

Oh yeah, now I remember that vile neo-nazi collaborator and White Supremacist and, yes @#6 Hemidactylus, I didn’t recognise him at first here either.

Good riddance Milo and do let the door hit you on the way out!

I wonder whether if it ever occurred to him when he was spewing his racist pro-ICE bullshit that he was vulnerable as an illegal migrant himself & why given his powerful friends, etc .. he didn’t quietly fix things and become a legal resident or even citizen when he could’ve?.Glad he didbn’t an d can be deported.

    Forbes

Yiannopoulos has become increasingly critical of the Trump administration after backing it during President Donald Trump’s first term.

This might explain it, why ICE picked him up now.

  13. StevoR says

@ 19. John Morales : Yeah, I remembered & likewise mainly from reading this blog & other FTB ones too. Just took me a while becoz I haven’t heard anything about him for ages. It has been quite a while and that picture of him does look really different to how he used to look.

UK doesn’t want him “send him halfway back”?

That was MY sugggestion. Drop Milo off on Rockall.

Allegedly Laura Loomer called ICE and told them he was overstaying his visa.
Allegedly this is funny. But she is also an objectively horrible human being.

  16. says

wasn’t laura loomer allegedly the one allegedly sexually assaulted by andrew tate? wouldn’t this allegedly support my theory she’s sweet-talked shitler into getting rid of people she dislikes, even tho they’d usually get a pass for being nazis? allegedly?

  17. StevoR says

Kyle Kulinski absolutely loving Milo’s eviction here – The Leopards Ate His Face 20 mins long and WARNING : Explicit sexual references, swearing, some problematic language incl offensive slurs referenced, crude AF but pretty entertaining anyhow. Good dose of schadenfraude.
