Is this justice, or cruel and unusual punishment?

P Diddy and SBF are locked up together in a Brooklyn jail.

Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was arrested last week on allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering, is being housed in the same living space of a federal detention center in Brooklyn as disgraced former crypto exec Sam Bankman-Fried, three sources familiar with the matter tell NBC New York.

I don’t know if this is a good idea. Letting these two associate and come up with new ideas could have consequences — I don’t want to imagine the combination of crypto and baby oil.

Alternative possibility would be a Kilkenny Cats scenario. I’d rather not think about that, either, but if I have to, I’m putting $50 on P Diddy.

    Snake oil, I presume.

Several years ago, rapper L’il Kim was sent to the federal pen during the time that Martha Stewart was there. I was hoping they’d end up as cellmates. It would have been comedy gold. Maybe I’ll pitch a show based on a fictional version of that anyway.

Don’t expect me to feel bad for either of them regardless of what happens to them. They are both skeevy sexual predators. Diddy beats women, SBF pressured his female employees into having sex with him (one of them stated something to the effect of “so this is what it’s like to live in a harem”.

The sources describe the unit as a barrack-style area currently housing about 18-20 inmates. These inmates range from high profile defendants, like Combs, to cooperators — inmates who may require special protection.

The area is separate from the overall general population unit, but is common/shared living space, sources tell NBC New York.

So basically, they put them in with the jailhouse rats. This just keeps getting better.

@2 I would pay money to watch that. Although now that Snoop Dogg & Martha are BFFs sipping chardonnay at mutual dinner parties, the moment might have passed.

Hunh, I should have thought of that, considering I’ve seen people do amateur liquid cooling systems by basically suspending a motherboard in an aquarium of mineral oil.

At least the jail separates snitches and sexual predators from the general population. While this is a low bar of prison enlightenment, it is something. I do not dare ask how things work in places like Alabama or Texas.
